Saturday I met the Gray family at Garner State Park for their family session.  It's funny how it always seems like I know everyone before the sessions because of the emailing.  I felt this way with Shawn.  She has a beautiful family.  We had a great time whirling around Garner in all of the wind.  It was VERY windy.  Texas weather.. one day it's cool and windy, the next it's hot and sunny.. I never know what to expect!  I love the first picture of Shawn with her family in the distance.  I did some fun stuff with Jacy and I love the close-up of her.  Enjoy.

Sunday afternoon I had the pleasure of doing a maternity session with Kristi.  She wanted both of her girls and her husband in the mix, so we incorporated the whole family into the session.  Caitlin and Krislyn are completely darling and made the belly shots so very sweet.  They were ready and willing to kiss, touch and love on Kristi when they were prompted to.  Mickey was a natural.  He has his hands full of three beautiful girls, so he will really be out numbered when the fourth arrives!  I am looking forward to the newborn session!!

Sessions like this make me realize how much I LOVE being a photographer.  I am constantly striving to keep things fresh and new for each session, which is not always easy.  I am so pleased!  Samantha is a very dear friend of mine and I have been waiting anxiously to do pictures of Riata.  She is still so tiny and new to this world, so I was very happy to have such a lively subject.  She smiled througout the entire session.  Jesse and Samantha are very blessed to have such a precious little one!  LOVE.

I have been booking away..  MATERNITY sessions, SENIOR sessions, FAMILY sessions and BRIDAL sessions. 

If by chance you are interested in doing a session in February, March or April please email me with your desired session dates, so that we can coordinate schedules and reserve your date.  I have great sessions in the works!  However, my weekends are beginning to really fill up, so please plan ahead and reserve your dates.

Because all of my weekends tend to book so quickly, I am going to begin offering something new for all weekday sessions.  My pricing will remain the same, but there will be a couple of perks for booking during the week.  Weekday sessions will have a $225 print credit rather than the $200 print credit,  plus a complimentary 8X10 photo.

URTH STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHER: MONTH of LOVE ♥ TEXAS PHOTOGRAPHER

Today is the first day of February, which is univerally known as the month of LOVE.  As cliche as it is to act as though I am not one to celebrate or enjoy Valentine's Day, it's true.  I am not a big fan.  You certainly will not see me out to dinner with every other couple in the world because I think it's completely akward.  Sorry to be the big stick in the mud!  Call me Debbie-downer if you will.  I guess seeing all of those nervous guys and girls on dates makes me feel nervous for them!  However, accumalating tons of Valentine's as a kid was of course super fun.

All of my appointments have booked into March and later months, so in order to promote some fun for me in February I am doing this "month of LOVE", thing!  Book any session in February in order to take advantage.  Your session includes a $100 print credit towards any prints of your choice, an 8X10 portrait or (2) 5X7's and a password protected online client proofing gallery.  SHARE the LOVE!!!
