lauren + will : {E-SESSION} : SAN ANTONIO, TX ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER

After spending the afternoon with Lauren and Will I am so anxious to capture them strutting it down the aisle.  Most clients I get to know through email and phone calls, then meet for the first time on their engagement session.  This was the case for these two and it could not have been a better blind photo date.  Lauren is stunning and I knew I would love her when she showed up dressed in white.  White is such a bridal statement and tis' the season for them, so I really loved the white dress for the session.  Will has the best humor ever.  These two compliment one another in a beautiful way.  You must see the UT photos at the end of this post.  Kristin and I were laughing so hard.  Will was giving us the UT game act and it was so funny.  What fun!

Jenny and Michael welcomed Lucia into the world in early February.  She is a sweetheart, truly.  I've been so anxious to shoot every single one of my friends babies because I think practice makes perfect and these newborn days apparently come and go quickly.  The baby years have begun and are in overdrive for so many of my friends.  We have babies all over the place and I just love it.  I cannot wait until my little bean is part of the crew.  Lucia, you are a beauty!  My newborn session skills are climbing the charts, so look forward to seeing more babies on the blog.

puppy breath : OTIS

Who doesn't love a good dose of puppy breath!  Otis is the newest addition to our little growing family.  I know, I know.  Just maybe we were having baby fever early and could not wait to have a something small to love.  He is a pocket beagle and I'm not exactly sure how "pocket" he will be, but either way we are happy to have him.  I picked him up at the airport in a little pet carrier and he had messed EVERYWHERE, so things started off a little shaky for sure, but after a quick trip to see Uncle Lewis at Lincoln Heights Animal Hospital we were in good shape!  The road trip to Uvalde that afternoon was a smooth ride, although it was seriously taking this pup a long while to warm up to things.  I shot these photos literally a few minutes after we arrived home.  Otis has taken shape to our lifestyle and he is the most adorable puppy.  He has such a great personality.  He follows us EVERYWHERE and does not miss a beat.  He runs through the yard like a tornado and cuddles up with us when he's tuckered.  He seems huge now in comparison to these photos.  We love this little guy.

The White Family, my friends..  This is one wonderful family full of life.  I can't wait to shoot them again this Spring.  These were so fun, especially with their dogs!
