{kristin} brittany + rob {DESTINATION WEDDING!!}

I think it's safe to say that we all had a hefty case of island fever. We all brought loads of clothes with us of course, so one afternoon when we were having a bit of down time we got all-dolled-up and did a mini-session together under the palapa. We loaded on the jewels, painted on the lips, tossed up our hair and played dress-up. How old did I just turn????!! GIRLS will always be GIRLS!!! I LOVE being a girl and everything that goes along with it. I think Jen and Katy are so pretty and so great. I look like a total doooooosh though. We were dying laughing the whole time. I know I'll regret posting this later today, so don't be surprised if I pull this post!!
Port Aransas wouldn't be the same without Woody's. Throughout the years of visiting Port A and keeping our boats docked there, Woody's has been the place to be. Sure enough our boat ended up back at Woody's once again this time around. Dad gave me a list of names that I would run into and meet while staying on the boat. After a day of lounging around the docks with all of the locals we became friends with just about everyone. One of the days we came strolling back to the boat and the cute old man with the "old fart" cap was sitting in our palapa drinking himself a cold one. Turns out he's an old timer from Port A that frequents the dock at Woody's. He's a character. My favorite gent of all is "squeaky" the cute little man who hangs around waiting for boats to cruise in full of fish to clean. He's the one with the white rubber boots and crystal blue eyes. Saturday some of our friends were entered in a tournament, so we bummed around the Back Porch and waited for the big weigh-in to take place. Check out the champs below. ;)
Finally, I am back in the swing of things!! I have been trying desperately to finish backing up my computer and organizing everything with a new program that I'm using. Now the fun stuff rolls in... The Burk girls!! The morning of my birthday we all met up at the ice cream shop and began our fun little session with Caroline, Kennedy and Hannah Grace. Courtney was one of my first brave clients to book me for a session when I first started out. Oh, how things have changed. The girls made my birthday when the session was over and they said "Kristin, I love you". Aaaaaaaahhh!!! My heart melted. LOVE these girls..
I photographed the Seibert family last week in Port Aransas, TX. Along with the beach comes a lot of wind. You may recognize little Belle. She's the little dumpling that I photographed a while back. She is the plumpest little thing. Ace had me cracking up throughout most of the session. He's every bit of Jay's son. His favorite poses were all football positions. Lacy is simply gorgeous. Once Belle hit the water she was gone! She's a little beach babe. Enjoy.
