baby jackson : {NEWBORN SESSION}

Oh, the joy of a newborn arrival! Upon arriving to the Gilliland residence I was really anxious about photographing a fresh little baby again. It had been such a long while. So many things were running through my mind like positioning, finding good light, keeping the baby safe and sound, keeping the baby a happy camper... the list goes on! My experience with Jackson was delightful though. Mom kept his belly full and he snoozed the session away. Grace is playing the role in being a big sister in an excellent way.

Many of my friends and family are either pregnant or have babies, so my baby fever for photos is definitely high. I have many newborn sessions ahead. I am in love with doing them now. Oh, JOY!

Madeline Grace.. While editing these photos this morning I have left the tunes up to Pandora and having submitted Norah Jones as the artist, I am finding that each song paired with all of these images has almost brought me to tears over and over again.  Happy tears, I might add.  I am so proud of Amber.  Although, she's all grown up with baby and all.. she will always be my little laughing sister.  She is so good.  It is a beautiful thing to see her as a MOM.  It means so much and to see our Mom with her.. happy tears!  It's been an emotional morning.  Enjoy!  :)

Friday I photographed McKenzie and Madison.  The little bird house full of doves was the cutest setting for a session.  The girls had their camo-bloomers and big strands of beads on.  SO cute!!
