I was completely elated when Ashley contacted me about shooting her engagement portrait session.  She and Eddie are planning a destination wedding, so I am thrilled to have been able to shoot these pre-wedding photos for them.  It's truly so easy to see that these two are the perfect pair.  When I have clients fill out their questionnaires before their engagement sessions, I learn so much about them and their history together, which makes planning sessions so fun for couples.  It was important to both Ashley and Eddie to capture the good times they have being together, which I think we did.  What a splendid afternoon with you both.  Love is in the air!

After spending the afternoon with Lauren and Will I am so anxious to capture them strutting it down the aisle.  Most clients I get to know through email and phone calls, then meet for the first time on their engagement session.  This was the case for these two and it could not have been a better blind photo date.  Lauren is stunning and I knew I would love her when she showed up dressed in white.  White is such a bridal statement and tis' the season for them, so I really loved the white dress for the session.  Will has the best humor ever.  These two compliment one another in a beautiful way.  You must see the UT photos at the end of this post.  Kristin and I were laughing so hard.  Will was giving us the UT game act and it was so funny.  What fun!

Before the New Year arrives I thought I would leave you all with these photos of this beautiful couple.  Kristin has been working with me for a year now shooting weddings.  We photographed 25 weddings together this year and our calendar is beginning to fill up for next year as well.  We are taking a bit of a hiatus this Spring while I'm on maternity leave, but we will start back in June once I've settled in with the baby!  Kristin is one lovely girl and her fiance Jeremy is a stand-up guy.  He is in the architecture program at UTSA currently.  Darling pair, eh?!

Love them!  I enjoyed this session through and through.  I just feel so lucky to have such sweet people to photograph.  Margaret's eyes are dynamite!
