URTH STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY: Alli. Senior Session. ♥ San Antonio Photographer

Alli and her mother Susie are.. OH-SO-GREAT.  Tuesday afternoon we began Allie's senior session at their loft in San Antonio.  I was having one of those ugh, un-inspired yuck weeks.. in other words I was experiencing a BIG lull in feeling inspired or creative at all, which naturally happens from time to time.  I'm not sure how, but every time this happens I end up having a really GOOD session.  Alli is a gem.  She photographed so easily.  I think her images speak loudly for themselves.  Beautiful and natural, and the camera LOVES her.  She is going to be a LONGHORN at UT in Austin, TX.  Watch out Austin.. here she comes!!  It was such a pleasure ladies.  Thanks a zillion for all of the FUN.  ENJOY.

URTH STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY: 5 great things ♥ TEXAS PHOTOGRAPHY

1.  My Bridal sessions have been simply AMAZING.  Thanks to all of you beautiful brides.  It's pure torture having to keep them private.  My next bridal session is Sunday.  Sorry folks.. I cannot share.  :(

2.  I am working on a new logo with Amber.  She has been sending me proofs all day today.  I feel bad ditching the old one, but it just isn't cutting it.  I want more PIZAZZZZZ.  Amber is AWESOME if any of you ever need her.  afkgraphics@hotmail.com  Here is a sneak peek of a proof from today.  NICE, eh!

3.  The LORD has blessed us with RAIN!!!

4.  I have an AIRCRAFT session this weekend, which will be a change of pace.

5.  Micro-dermabrasion.  I did it this morning.  I was nervous going into the appointment because I was warned that the treatment would burn my face and all sorts of terrifying stuff, BUT that was far from what the treatment was like.  They used this little plastic tool that was basically a suction with tiny crystals flowing through it.  So, it essentially exfoliated my face and sucked every ounce of dirt out of my pores.  My face has never felt so CLEAN.  My face was not even red or irritated, just pristine.  I will be telling you more later..

URTH STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY: HOLY COW ♥ TEXAS FARM & RANCH PHOTOGRAPHY

Holy Cow.  I have never been surrounded by so many steers.  Sunday morning Kincaid and I decided to make a run to Batesville, TX.  I would NEVER turn down a plate of chalupas and enchiladas at Yomi's.  Mexican food is my biggest weakness.  I don't eat much without a wheat tortilla and huge dollops of super spicy salsa.  After lunch we loaded up and headed straight to the green pastures full of steers and manure.  Kincaid spends about 6 months working cattle in Batesville every year, so I really just wanted to see the whole opearation now that the pastures are full.  We drove out into the middle of an open field and sure enough the steers came running.  I crawled out of the truck window and joined Julieta on the bed of the truck for some quality time with the cattle.  The steers piled in and seriously just stared, and stared AND STARED.  I'm not sure if they were staring at me or Julieta, but one of us capturing every ounce of their attention.  They were especially cute playing around as the pivot sprayed chunks of water all over them.  What a nice Sunday.  Enjoy.
