URTH STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY: bridal shoot for the WEDDING GUIDE

This past summer I was asked to do an 8 page bridal spread for the upcoming issue of the Wedding Guide.  Here are some of the favorites from the sessions.  Lari Nelson of Nelson Model and Talent provided the models for the shoot.  They were such troopers.  It was SO dreadfully hot this summer.  The girls were so great.  KM Impressions glammed-up all of the girls.  Kim provided all of the make-up and hair services.  It was a long day and they really stuck it out.  Kim delivered an amazing job with each girl.  Erin McLarty of Eden's Echo provided us with stunning bouquets.  Her work speaks for itself.  It's bright and bold, with a bit of funky and nostalgic notions.  She is GREAT.  The Valencia Hotel set us up in a complimentary suite for the day.  Thank goodness.  I don't know what we would have done without it.  Gowns were provided by the Bridal Salon of San Antonio, David's Bridal and Alfred Angelo.  We had a fabulous selection.  Thanks to all of you for pulling everything together with me.  It was FUN.  :)

URTH STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY: kimber + travis

Kimber and Travis were every bit of a delight to photograph.  They were recently married on the Devil's River and hired me to do an after-the-wedding session.  Lucky me.  They have a GREAT story.  I think the images portray exactly how perfect they are together.  Love them.  You guys are so easy on the eyes.  ;

Love this.  I think they look like two childhood kids hanging out.  It's the wide-angle.  ;

I caught some air in this photo- check out their feet.

URTH STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY: SA Wedding Guide

SA Wedding Guide chose me to do an 8 page spread in their upcoming publication.. WHEEEEW-HOOO!!  I jumped on the Wedding Guide wagon over a month ago, so you will be seeing my booth for URTH STUDIO at the next Bridal Extravaganza on September 20th, which I am pumped about!!  My ad will also run in the upcoming publication that hits SA in September along with my 8 page bridal spread.  Check out my info on the Wedding Guide website.!!  The past couple of days have been every bit of crazy, fun and exhuasting.  This heat is just hideous.  I just wanted to share a tiny glimpse of my work from Wednesday.  Photos are swarming my computer and I'm anxious to share, but for now here is an image from my very first session of the morning.  I'm waiting to share my actual ad because you will be seeing it somewhere else in a couple of weeks!!

URTH STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY: Bridal Fair

Sunday was the San Antonio Bridal Fair and I had the pleasure of photographing all of the action backstage.  KM Impressions glammed-up all of the girls for the runway show.  The make-up looks were up to par with all of the current trends and must-have looks.  The colors were all so fabulous and the airbrushing, which was new to me is my new favorite thing.  I don't wear much make-up, so I'm EXTREMELY particular about professionally full-blown make-up looks.  I was actually not really into the whole professional make-up gig for weddings until now.  The airbrushing technique is so light and I LOVE it and it's much easier to photograph.  It makes a world of difference.  The brides make-up doesn't melt away.  Professional make-up is the way to go ladies!!  The Saturday night before the show Frenchie was crowned as Miss San Antonio, TX.  She was presented during the show, so I had a chance to hang with her for a few and shoot a few images..  Miss San Antonio, TX.. )
